Change of Mission President for Singapore Mission on 1 July

It’s been three years since Brother Bradley Searight Mains arrived to serve as Mission President to the Singapore Mission with his wife, Cheri Ann Bell Mains. We want to thank them for their obvious dedication and love to the people of Singapore and to the missionaries under their care in particular. We wish the Mains’ all the best for the future.

Beginning 1 July, Stephen A. Simmons, 55, and Elizabeth Poelman Simmons, Stake will succeed President Mains and Sister Mains. The Simmons have three children and come from Leesburg Ward, Ashburn Virginia. Brother Simmons serves as a Sunday School teacher and is a former stake presidency councilor, high councilor, bishop, ward Young Men president, seminary teacher, and missionary in the Taiwan Taichung Mission. Sister Simmons serves as a ward Primary teacher and is a former ward Young Women and Primary president, ward Relief Society and Young Women presidency counselor, stake music chairman, and missionary in the Spain Bilbao Mission.
