The Book of Mormon Sticker Design Opportunity

Theme: Book of Mormon Characters/Heroes

Task: Design stickers for Instant Messaging Apps such as Line, WhatsApp, Facebook messenger etc. featuring beloved characters from the Book of Mormon. We’re looking for stickers that will really bring them to life with short greetings or inspiring phrases like 'Good morning!' or 'Did you think to pray?'

Who Can Enter?

  • Open to individuals or teams

  • We strongly encourage youth and young adults to contribute their talents!

  • Whether you're a seasoned artist or just love doodling, we would love to see your creativity!

Submission Guidelines:

  1. Original designs should feature Book of Mormon characters.

  1. Include a brief phrase or greeting from the Book of Mormon.

  1. Ensure your designs are youth-friendly and inspirational.

  1. Submit in Transparent background- 512x512 pixels - Less than 100 KB per sticker- Icon for sticker pack: 96x96 pixels, less than 50 KB. Choose 8, 16 or 24 images - Chat Thumbnail Icon: 96x74 pixels - PNG format with transparent backgrounds, max 1 MB per image.

  2. Submit Your Entry: Submit your meme design(s) directly to AsiaAreaComm@ChurchofJesusChrist.org. Please include your full name, your branch / ward and your contact information.

Selected entries will be made available to download for various instant messaging platforms on our website!

Guidelines

  • Character Limitation

  1. Only characters from the Book of Mormon are allowed.

  1. Participants must clearly identify which character they are depicting in their submission.

  • Quote Relevance

  1. Each sticker must include a short quote or phrase directly from the Book of Mormon, a quote related to the Book of Mormon (e.g. Quote from a general authority), or everyday life phrases such as “Good morning”, “Thank you”, or “Did you think to pray?”

  1. Quotes used should be relevant to the character depicted and the message they are conveying.

  1. Include a reference for the quote (e.g., book, chapter, and verse, general conference talk, Liahona article, etc.).

  • Design Style

    1. The stickers should be appropriate for youth and young adult audiences.

    2. Designs should be respectful and reflective of the spiritual nature of the Book of Mormon.

    3. Cartoon-style representations are preferred to make stickers more relatable and engaging for the intended audience.

  • Originality and Creativity

    1. All submissions must be original work and not infringe on any third-party rights.

    2. Creativity in how the characters and quotes are portrayed is encouraged.

  • Submission Format

    Transparent background- 512x512 pixels - Less than 100 KB per sticker- Icon for sticker pack: 96x96 pixels, less than 50 KB. Choose 8, 16 or 24 images - Chat Thumbnail Icon: 96x74 pixels - PNG format with transparent backgrounds, max 1 MB per image.
    • Text Requirements:

      • - Creator Sticker Title: Up to 50 characters.
        - Sticker Description: Up to 40 characters.
        - Copyright: Up to 160 characters.
        - Note: Asian language characters and some symbols count as 2 characters each

  • Use of Language

    1. Ensure that the language used in the stickers is appropriate, respectful, and in line with the teachings of the Book of Mormon.

    2. The text can be in the local language(s) of your country. (e.g. Malaysian saints can submit their designs in English, Malay or Simplified Chinese)

    3. Non-Offensive Content: Stickers must not contain any offensive, derogatory, or inappropriate content.

  • Participation Rules

One participant can submit as many sticker packs as needed

  • Rights and Usage

The creator agrees to sign the “Creative Works Unlimited License” which gives unlimited rights and license to the Church as indicated in the “Creative Works Unlimited License” document
