Scriptures
I, the Lord, require the hearts of the children of men (D&C 64:22); Behold, he offereth himself a sacrifice for sin, to answer the ends of the law, unto all those who have a broken heart and a contrite spirit; and unto none else can the ends of the law be answered (2 Nephi 2:7).
Questions
- In what ways are we asked to sacrifice?
- What have you consecrated to the Lord?
- Why are a broken heart and contrite spirit required to unlock the atonement?
Objective
Heavenly Father has provided all things for us, including His Only Begotten Son. He will direct us back to Him as we freely offer Him our all, including a broken heart and a contrite spirit.
