Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment (Matthew 22:37-38); He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father (John 14:21).

Objective
We show our love for God by trusting Him, seeking His guidance, and following His commandments. God loves us and seeks to help us qualify for eternal life by giving us commandments (Moses 1:39).
