The Concert in Seven Themes

The Concert was presented in seven themes, beginning with 'seeds' – showing how the Church started with a handful of members.  Then the 'soil' provided the nourishments for the early members to strengthen their faith.  With deep strong 'roots' to withstand the challenges, pioneer members got married, raised families, and expanded the congregation.  With established 'branches' across the island, the 'fruits' appeared: members sent their children abroad as missionaries; some even served as missionary couples in temples abroad.  To serve the community, members collaborated with community partners and leaders of other faiths, such as the IRCC and Jamiyah Singapore to promote inter-faith and inter-religious harmony as well as 'diversity within the system'.  For 'continuous growth' the leaders would seek every opportunity to work with the community partners and strengthen the faith and testimony of every member to be a force for good in the world.

Guest Performers

Under the theme of 'Diversity within the System,' the audience was entertained by the AVGMT-Sakthi Fine Arts Dancers, SherePunjab Bhangra dancers, the choir from The Local Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'i of Queenstown and Prof. Sean Rozario, a jazz musician who was also the Chairman for Moulmein-Cairnhill's IRCC.
