Singapore Stake Talent Night 2024

After a long hiatus, the Singapore Stake Talent Night returned on the 12th October 2024, better than ever. The night saw over 100 performers showcasing their talents in a variety of different performances. The wonderful talents of the Singapore Stake filled the hall with smiles, laughter and cheers as the Singapore Stake celebrated our gifts and talents through music, dancing, singing and acting.

To start off the night, Jurong Ward put up a shadow puppet show of The Legend of Chang E’ and Hou Yi. It was an outstanding performance complete with hand crafted puppets, sound effects, music and a Singlish voice cast.

They were followed by Compassvale who presented a thrilling fusion of sports, dance and music, showcasing the best of Compassvale Ward’s talent and teamwork, Olympic Style.

Newton Ward Primary and Youth were at the forefront of their Ward’s performance centred around three wishes that led to a whirlwind of exciting surprises. The performance, including singing while cup stacking, rubik’s cube solving, and dancing, was full of fun, energy and even a few unexpected twists.

The 3rd Ward presented a wonderful tribal dance. Following that, they had their very own Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars and Michael Jackson impersonators and dancers on stage, making it feel like a pop concert. Their performance got everyone swaying and grooving to the rhythm.

The next item was by the Singapore Stake missionaries who performed several musical pieces including 'Awake and Arise' and 'Redeemer of Israel. ' These powerful songs of praise reminded everyone of the hope that Jesus Christ, our Saviour, brings to the desolate heart.

After the musical medley, the talented dancers from Sembawang Ward lit up the stage with a high-energy dance medley that kept everyone on the edge of their seats with their moves and groovy rhythm.

The night concluded with the Young Single Adult Ward’s skit “Lost in Translation”. It was a hilarious skit with relatable scenes for all generations.

It was an amazing night with each Ward bringing their unique performances, captivating the audience with their talents and enthusiasm. A Big Thank You to all for sharing your gifts, especially to those working behind the scenes to make this wonderful night possible.
