Meet the New Bishopric of Singapore 4th Ward

The bishopric of Singapore 4th Ward was reorganized on Sunday 22 January 2016.

Bishop Cade Napierski hails from Salt Lake City, Utah, USA and has been in Singapore with his family (wife April, and their 4 children) for 3 years.

Bishop Napierski served most recently as 1st counselor in the Singapore 4th Ward Bishopric. He confesses to feeling the weight of this new calling but “the Savior asks first and foremost that we love, and my capacity to love has been expanded and I am ready to serve with the members of this ward,' he said.

Brother Ross Garner has been called as the 1st counselor, and Brother Darren Lifferth continues to serve faithfully as 2nd counselor.

Brother Garner hails from Inez, Texas and has been in Singapore with his family (wife Paula, and 4 children) for 3 years. Brother and Sister Garner's oldest child is now attending University in the US.

Brother Lifferth hails from Nashville, Tennessee and has been in Singapore with his family (wife Sarah, and 6 children) for 4 years. Their youngest child was born here.

The Singapore 4th Ward is made up of expatriates from all over the world. The ward sees members coming and going every year. While this can present a challenge with callings constantly being reorganized, the ward is close-knit in spirit, and people are quickly welcomed in when they arrive. Bishop Napierski and his counselors count themselves blessed to live here, and with the Lord's help, they look forward to supporting the Singapore 4th Ward members.
