Young Women in Excellence 2016

Young Women in Excellence 2016

On January 30 2016, young women from the different wards in Singapore came together for the annual Young Women in Excellence.

This year, two Young Women graduates who completed their Personal Progress, Cleo from Second Ward and Kirsten from Clementi Ward, gave their heartfelt testimonies on how the Young Women Personal Progress Program has helped them in their lives.

Skits, songs or videos of the Young Women Program Values were presented by the Young Women in the different wards.

The spirit was strongly felt throughout the evening. Abish from the Choa Chu Kang Ward shared, 'After hearing the testimonies of the young women who graduated I feel motivated to do my Personal Progress to earn my medallion. And the skit which we performed as a ward was really interesting and fun!'

At the following fast and testimony meeting, Regene Chen, my mother, shared that the event reminded her of her own Young Women days. She thanked the church for the Young Women program that brought up young ladies to face the world’s challenges by turning to the Lord. We ended up the program enjoying delicious stew for refreshment. We look forward to next year's Young Women in Excellence.
